MMS LITE

MMS Lite is a portable IEC 61850 source code product for embedding the IEC 61850 protocols in Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) such as RTUs, reclosers, PLCs, meters and other resource-constrained systems. MMS Lite is easily portable to ANY operating system and CPU type supporting an ANSI C compiler for maximum flexibility. MMS Lite supports all the client and server functions needed to implement IEC61850 compatible devices supporting IEC 61850 parts 6, 7-2, 7-3, 7-4, 7-410 (Hydropower models), 7-420 (distributed energy resource (DER) models), 8-1, 9-2, and IEC 61400-25-2 (for wind power models). MMS Lite supports all ACSI client and server services and objects including servers, logical devices, logical nodes, setting groups, data, datasets, logs, buffered and unbuffered reporting, controls, GOOSE, and multicast sampled values. The latest release includes support for Routable GOOSE (R-GOOSE) per IEC TR 61850-90-5 and client/server communications over IPV6. Also available with ICCP-TASE.2 Extensions.
